From family feasts to cookie exchanges to NYE celebrations, we all did our fair share of indulging during the last few months of 2017. But that’s a wrap on the holiday season and now we’re welcoming a new year.
Juicers and blenders get a workout this time of year when we all swap Christmas cookies and casseroles for fresh fruits and veggies. If you don’t have a juicer, you can make this whole juice in your Hamilton Beach® Professional 1800 Watt Peak Power Blender.
To make a whole juice, blend the ingredients without removing the pulp. Juicers remove pulp from fruits and vegetables – but the pulp is NOT removed when blending. So whole juice = whole pieces of fruit/vegetables, and juice = liquid from the fruit/vegetables sans pulp. Got it?!
Add cranberry juice, apple cider, a granny smith apple, frozen blueberries, and ice into the blender jar. If you prefer a sweeter juice, try swapping cranberry juice for cran apple or cran raspberry juice. Cover and blend on AUTO SMOOTHIE or pulse a few times. Then blend on HIGH for about a minute.
The ingredients blend together to make a tart purple juice that packs a punch. ACV – apple cider vinegar – makes the juice acidic and tangy while helping aid in digestion (a healthy gut is a happy gut) and increasing energy levels. ACV FTW.
